The Canadian actress, who came out as gay last year at a pro-LGBT conference organized by the Human Rights Campaign, got into a heated back-and-forth with Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz at the Iowa State Fair on Friday.

Commissioned a lovely sketch from moonysketches. Rachel Grey and Kitty Pryde! They’re pretty much one of my only OTPs.
The sketch was ADORABLE, I love how it came out! I haven’t colored anything in almost a year due to arthritis in my hands, but I just had to try and color this.
I’ve been dying to do this kind of more painterly, super saturated and contrasty style for a while. It’s a style that doesn’t lend itself to comics, I this sketch was a good chance to fix that.
